Alben – CD oder download

In ihrem Langzeitprojekt begin to… trat Anna Ohlmann in einen engen Austausch mit ihrem Publikum. Ein Jahr lang besuchte die Künstlerin Menschen in deren Zuhause. Dort reagierte Anna Ohlmann auf die vorherrschende Atmosphäre, auf den Zauber, der ihr an diesen privaten, ganz persönlichen Orten begegnete. Am vorhandenen Klavier oder auch am mitgebrachten Saxophon verwandelte sie ihre Eindrücke in Musik.
Das zweite Soloalbum wurde live aufgenomen am 5. Juni 2022 aus der Kirche St. Maria als, Stuttgart (D) – mit 10 offenen Kompositionen für Klavier aus den Projektbegegnungen mit Stuttgarter:innen über ein Jahr hinweg von Mai 2021 bis Mai 2022.

That’s the dream: beyond the white page, even more so with the minimal gesture of words possible, the eerie poet eliminates the text syllable by syllable. The ideal, quintessential, is the cocoon of an impression: not dry skeleton, yet a mineral skin, reverberating. “eclosion” is the ideal poetry collection: music composed by a writer, temperate and exact, it is literature free from the constraints of the page. Anna Ohlmann carves exact titles for each of her songs, as to put the mind of the listener aligned with the temptation of a plot. But by arranging her notes more through a suggestion of a structure than a fixed architecture, Anna Ohlmann’s “eclosion” soundscape sprouts strong desires and memories in the body of its listeners. -Vinicius Jatobá
